# Book by OpenApps: a free Calendly alternative Book is a free booking page for one-on-one meetings. Set the hours you are free, paste your meeting link and share your page. People pick a time in their own time zone and get the link. No sign-up, no paid plan, no limit on pages or bookings. Web app: https://book-free.openapps.xyz/ ## What it does - One page per kind of meeting, as many pages as you like, at https://book-free.openapps.xyz/<your-address>. - Weekly hours in 15-minute steps, days off for holidays, a minimum notice, how far ahead people can book, and a break after each meeting. - Meetings of 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes on your own Google Meet, Zoom or Teams link. Only people who book see the link. - Up to 5 questions for the person booking, besides name and email. - Times show in each visitor's own time zone, with the zone named. - Two bookings can never share or overlap a time, even when two people click at once. - After booking, the person gets the meeting link, a calendar invite (a file, or Google Calendar) and a private link to move or cancel the booking. - You see each booking on your page as it happens. Subscribe to your page's calendar feed and bookings show up in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. ## What it does not do - It does not read your calendar, so it cannot see when you are busy. Block time with your weekly hours and days off. - It does not send emails or reminders. - Calendar apps re-read a subscribed feed on their own schedule, so a new booking can take hours to appear in Google Calendar. ## How to use it 1. On https://book-free.openapps.xyz/, type your name and meeting link, pick the length and your weekly hours, and create the page. 2. Share the page link. Keep your admin link: it opens your bookings and settings on any device. 3. In Settings, add days off and subscribe to the calendar feed. ## Links an assistant can send - https://book-free.openapps.xyz/<handle>?date=2026-10-21&tz=Europe/London&name=Alex%20Kim&email=alex@example.com opens the page on that day, in that zone, with the form filled. - A booking's manageUrl opens it on any device, to move or cancel it. ## API A public HTTP API with no key: make pages, read open times, book, move and cancel bookings, and read a page's bookings with its owner key. - Base URL: https://functions.bounded.sh/apps/7385a6c1c47153b1728160ff/api - Guide: https://book-free.openapps.xyz/llms.txt - OpenAPI: https://book-free.openapps.xyz/openapi.json ## Compared with Calendly and Cal.com Checked October 2026 on calendly.com/pricing and cal.com/pricing. - Calendly's free plan allows one event type and one connected calendar, sends booking emails and keeps reminders for paid plans ($10 or $16 per seat a month, billed yearly). - Cal.com's free plan allows unlimited event types and calendars for one person, with email and SMS notifications. Teams cost $12 per user a month, billed yearly. - Book has no paid plan, no account and no limit on pages, and a public API with no key. It does not read calendars or send emails. ## Questions **Is there a free alternative to Calendly?** Yes.
